In the gallery below you’ll see a selection of photos from various art installations Jonah conceptualized and then built within public spaces. Since Jonah’s work is created from natural elements, creating an immersive space using some of these elements is important to him.

As part of an art opening, Jonah set-up an entire madrone tree in the middle of the 12 Gallagher Lane gallery in San Francisco and hung a wasp nest from its branches and scattered madrone leaves at its base. This represented the materials he used to create his artwork in the show.

Jonah created this installation for his senior show in college titled “Read Between the Lines”. He constructed this out of glass burned wood panels surrounded by paper on the walls splattered with paint.

Again Jonah transformed an office space by hanging madrone tree branches from steel beams. He finished the display by hanging a wasp nest from the branches, which represented the materials he used to create the artwork displayed in the surrounding art show.
